Snack Quest Terms of Use
Effective date: October 10, 2026 / Last updated: October 10, 2026
Welcome, Snack Quester
These Terms of Use are the ground rules for using Snack Quest at snackquestguide.com and any other domain we use for Snack Quest that links to these terms. Snack Quest is operated by an individual ("we," "us" or "Snack Quest").
By using Snack Quest, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. Snack Quest is a general-audience site that isn't directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 years old to use it. If you're under the age of majority where you live, please use Snack Quest with the permission of a parent or guardian. When you create a shared list, you're also confirming that you agree to these terms.
We're independent
Snack Quest is an independent, unofficial fan guide. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Universal (including Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Destinations & Experiences or NBCUniversal) or any restaurant or brand we mention. Park, land, restaurant and menu names, and other trademarks, belong to their owners. We use them only to describe where to find the food. We don't use their logos. If you're a rights holder with a concern, email us and we'll respond promptly.
Menus and prices can change
We work hard to keep menus accurate, and every menu shows when we last confirmed it. But menus, prices, hours and availability change often, sometimes without notice. All information on Snack Quest is provided "as is" and may be incomplete or out of date. Always check in the park before you order, and don't rely on Snack Quest for allergy, dietary or health decisions. Ask the restaurant team. Menu information is based on publicly available sources, including Universal's own published menus, and on our own checks. Universal's official menus and in-park information always take priority over ours.
Spot something wrong? Email us at [email protected] and we'll take a look.
Your Wish List
Your Wish List is saved in your browser. If you clear your browser data, switch browsers or devices, or your browser removes stored data, an unshared Wish List may be lost. We can't recover it.
Shared lists and acceptable use
When you share a list, anyone with the link can view and edit it. So please:
- share links only with people you trust,
- remember that a link can be forwarded, and everyone who gets it can see and change the list,
- understand that people with the link can add, remove or clear items, and that we can't tell who made a change or undo it, and
- don't treat shared lists as private. They aren't confidential, and we don't keep backups you can restore.
When using Snack Quest, don't:
- post or send anything abusive, hateful, harassing, illegal or infringing, or anyone's personal information,
- try to break, overload or get around the site's limits or security, including by using bots to create or edit lists in bulk,
- send data to our API other than through the site's normal features (for example, to store your own text in a list),
- try to find, guess or access other people's lists,
- change or clear a list you were given a link to, if you know the list's creator wouldn't want that, or
- use the site or its content for anything unlawful.
We may remove or change any shared list, or limit access to the site, at any time and for any reason, including if we believe these rules have been broken. Shared lists aren't guaranteed to be available forever. A shared list that nobody opens for 12 months is deleted automatically, and you can ask us to delete one sooner by emailing [email protected] with the link.
Reporting a list. If a shared list contains something offensive, illegal or infringing, or someone has tampered with yours, email [email protected] with the link and "Report list" in the subject. We'll review it and may remove it. We don't monitor or pre-screen lists; we only look at a list when someone reports it to us. We're not responsible for what people with a link put in them.
Copyright complaints. If you believe something on Snack Quest infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with "Copyright" in the subject. Include:
- what work you believe is infringed,
- where it is on Snack Quest (the URL or list link),
- your contact details,
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law,
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you're the owner or authorized to act for them, and
- your physical or electronic signature.
We remove material in response to valid notices, and we may block people who repeatedly infringe.
Ads and affiliate links
To keep Snack Quest free, we plan to show ads, including ads from Google, and affiliate links. Neither is live yet. Once they are, if you buy something through an affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We'll label affiliate links next to the link. We choose what to link to ourselves, and we only recommend things we think are worth your time, but we do earn money when you book through these links, so please weigh that. Advertisers and affiliate partners don't control or review what we write, and ads don't mean we endorse the advertiser.
Ads and links may take you to other websites that we don't control. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we're not responsible for their content, products or services. Any purchase or booking is between you and that seller. Prices and availability shown by partners can change; the partner's site is what counts.
Our content
Our original content, including Quest Picks, park overviews, articles, descriptions we write, the site's design and code, and the way we select and organize menu information, belongs to Snack Quest's operator or our licensors. Menu facts themselves (item names, prices and ingredients) and other companies' trademarks aren't ours, and we don't claim them. You're welcome to use Snack Quest for your own personal trip planning and to share links to our pages. Please don't copy, scrape, republish or sell our content without our written permission.
If you send us corrections or snack tips, you allow us to use them to improve Snack Quest, without owing you anything. Please don't send us anything you consider confidential, or content you don't have the right to share (such as someone else's photos).
No warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Snack Quest is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site will always be available, error-free or secure, or that shared lists will always be kept. Nothing in these terms excludes any warranty or right that can't be excluded under applicable law, including New Jersey law.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Snack Quest and its operator won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits or a disappointing snack, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to Snack Quest is limited to the greater of US $50 or the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (Snack Quest is free, so for most people that's $0). These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited under applicable law, including New Jersey law, such as liability for our own fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and for significant changes we'll add a notice on the site for at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Snack Quest after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms. Changes won't apply to a dispute you've already told us about before the change.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Let's talk first. If you have a dispute with us, please email [email protected] with "Dispute" in the subject and a short description. We'll try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days before either of us goes to court.
Where disputes are heard. If we can't resolve it, any dispute relating to Snack Quest will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and you and we agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court (in New Jersey, the Special Civil Part, Small Claims Section) or in the small claims court where you live, if the claim qualifies. If applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in the courts where you live, these terms don't take that right away. There's no arbitration requirement and no class-action waiver.
General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and the unenforceable part will be enforced to the extent permitted by applicable law. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about Snack Quest. We may transfer these terms to a successor operator of Snack Quest (for example, a company formed to run it).
